Grants of $50,000 to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations for programs that improve access to STEM career opportunities and education for women and girls of color. Funding is intended to support nonprofits focusing on career development, capacity building, increase in access, and other work that aims to increase the representation of women in STEM education, especially the technology sector. Priority will be given to girls and women from Latino, Native American, and Black populations.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Organizational Requirements for U.S. Nonprofits:
- The nonprofit must be in operation as a legally registered charitable organization or fiscally sponsored by a legally registered charitable organization for at least 3 years.
- The nonprofit’s focus must be on increasing access, capacity building, career development, or other related work with the goal of increasing representation of women in STEM education, especially the technology sector.
- The nonprofit must be based and operating within the United States.

Those served through the funding must be majority (minimum 50%) women of color and/or girls of color (with priority given to Latina, Native American, Black).

Organizational Requirements for Non-U.S. Nonprofits:
- The nonprofit must be in operation as a legally registered charitable organization or fiscally sponsored by a legally registered charitable organization for at least 3 years.
- The nonprofit’s focus must be on increasing access, capacity building, career development, or other related work with the goal of increasing representation of women in STEM education, especially the technology sector.
- Nonprofits based outside of the United States must have a completed profile in the grants and giving platform Benevity by the August 6, 2021 application deadline. You can search your profile completion status or create one here: https://causes.benevity.org/causes/claim-cause-search.
- Beneficiaries of the nonprofit must be based outside of the United States.

Those served through the funding must be majority (>50%) women of color and/or girls of color.

Pre-Application Information:

The application will be open from July 1, 2021 to August 6, 2021 at 11:45 pm PST.

All applicants will be notified of their application status in September 2021.
