Grants of $1,000 to Georgia small businesses and their employees in eligible locations for emergency assistance in the wake of COVID-19/Coronavirus. Funding is intended to help small businesses, with up to 10 employees, to offset expenses during the pandemic. Grants are available to small businesses located in downtown Athens.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Grants are available to small businesses located within the ADDA district. This grant is to support small businesses (1-10 employees) and their employees during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Eligibility Criteria:
- The business must be located within the ADDA boundary (see map, below).
- The business must be closed or significantly reduced in staffing capacity due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
- The business must have 1-10 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees. Example 1 employee working 20 hours per week is .5 FTE and 1 employee working 40 hours a week is 1 FTE.
- The business must be able to show how the $1,000 in grant funding will be used (i.e. maintain employees on payroll, delivery of goods to customers, changing the business model, etc.).
