Grants of up to $1,000 to Georgia music, art, and drama teachers for projects that benefit students in PreK-12 public schools in eligible counties. Funding is intended to support the purchase of supplemental teaching materials and project supplies. Grants may also be used to secure the services of an outside artist. Eligible public schools are located in Carroll, Haralson, and Heard Counties

Estimated Size of Grant:

Projects can be funded up to a maximum of $1,000 or can be partially funded.

Term of Contract:

If a grant is awarded, the funds must be used within 12 months of award date.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applications are accepted from state certified music, art and drama teachers in a public school located in Carroll, Haralson, or Heard Counties for grades preK-12.

Funds may not be used to purchase band uniforms.

This grant may not be used for clubs or after school programs.

Pre-Application Information:

The 2021 application will open on March 1, 2021. All applications must be completed and received by the Foundation by April 30, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST.

Teachers teaching at more than one school may apply for a grant for each school. This program is not limited to one grant per teacher.
