Grants to Georgia nonprofit organizations, IHEs, and faith-based organizations in eligible locations for community benefit projects. Previous grants have supported a free medical clinic, a mentorship program, an animal shelter, and a school behavioral intervention program. Grants will be made only to organizations for projects in Fort Valley and the immediate surrounding area.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Foundation will consider applications from nonprofits, higher education, and faith-based organizations only for non-sectarian, community outreach programs.

Grants will be made only to organizations for projects in Fort Valley and the immediate surrounding area.

Deadline: 12:00 PM on August 15.

The Community Foundation of Fort Valley Fund’s Community Grant Program will only consider one proposal from any one nonprofit during a twelve-month period.

Community Grant applicants are notified in writing, typically within three months of the application deadline.
