Grants to Georgia nonprofit organizations, IHEs, and faith-based entities in eligible locations for community benefit projects. Applicants must complete the required registration prior to applying. Previous grants have supported nutrition programs, mentorship activities, an animal shelter, and a school behavioral intervention program. Eligible applicants serve the residents of Fort Valley and the immediate surrounding area.

Interested organizations may apply for a grant for their project in Fort Valley and the immediate surrounding area.

The Foundation will consider applications from nonprofits, higher education, and faith-based organizations only for non-sectarian, community outreach programs.

Pre-Application Information:

The deadline to apply is 12:00 PM on August 15.

Applicants will need a User ID and Password to access the application. Please note that it will take at least one business day to process a new registration for the Web Portal; do not wait until the week of the deadline to register.

The Community Foundation of Fort Valley Fund’s Community Grant Program will only consider one proposal from any one nonprofit during a twelve-month period.

Community Grant applicants are notified in writing, typically within three months of the application deadline.
