Food Lion Charitable Foundation
Grants to USA nonprofit organizations for hunger-related programs benefiting residents in areas in which the funding source operates. Funding is intended to support initiatives to feed the hungry as well as to provide nutrition education. Applications will be accepted from eligible locations in Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Grants from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation support children at risk of hunger and support feeding agencies by helping to increase their "fresh" capacity so families can put nutritious meals on their tables. The foundation also helps provide nutrition education to eliminate the health risks of the hungry.
